It’s a girl for Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle Jonas! The couple welcomed their baby Alena Rose on Sunday, Feb. 2. Kevin, the eldest Jonas Brother, 26, took to Twitter with several live updates as his new daughter came into the world. "#babyjonas is on the way!! Follow dreft for all the updates!!!!! It's showtime #thisisnotadrill," Jonas, 26, tweeted earlier in the day. Dreft is a laundry detergent for baby clothes that was apparently sponsoring the child’s birth.

Kevin continued to share with his fans on his Twitter account "Here we go we're pushing!!!! #babyjonas” but it was Dreft’s account that posted the good news as the new Papa Jonas stepped away from his phone to be next to his wife during the final push. “On this day, a little star was born. Meet Alena Rose Jonas. @BabyJonas” the detergent’s Twitter account posted, along with a cute photo of Danielle and baby Alena.

"I'm so in love with her," the older Jonas Brother tweeted later. And joining the celebrations were new uncles Joe and Nick Jonas. Although this birth was a reason for joy and happiness, it came during a bittersweet time, since the Jonas’ grandfather passed away on Jan. 28 and his memorial was held on Saturday, Feb. 1, a day before Alena Rose was born. "My grandfather's memorial was yesterday," Nick Jonas wrote yesterday. "Today we welcome a new addition to the jonas family. God is great. Can't wait to meet my new niece."

Joe Jonas also weighed in, "As one life ends, another begins. Incredibly happy to be an uncle for the first time. Welcome to this world my beautiful niece." The new parents, Kevin and Danielle released a statement to E! News saying: "We are overjoyed at the birth of Alena Rose Jonas. She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together. We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes." Congrats to the Jonas Family!
