Is Kate Middleton Secretly Still Trying To Tarnish Meghan Markle's Reputation?

Is Kate Middleton in the mood for a tell-all? Is she ready to dish out the dirt that exists between her and Meghan Markle? Well, tabloids would kill for a meaty story. But, the truth is, there’s none. The Duchesses may not be best of friends, but they’re clearly not spewing venom on each other.

Not too long ago, “New Idea” ran a cover suggesting that the Duchess of Cambridge is all set to make life miserable for Markle, by exposing her dirty secrets through an exclusive interview with a tabloid. The cover of the tabloid’s edition reads “World Exclusive Interview” with a quote printed in bold: “Please Make Meghan Stop!”

While the misleading cover might compel one to think that Middleton has finally mustered up the courage to speak up, flipping through the pages will get one to realize that there was no real truth in the cover. If one were to run a closer eye on the story, it would be clear that the interview is with “royals author Andrew Morton”. And well, it has nothing to do with the Duchess of Cambridge.

Gossip Cop sprang into action to get the facts right – Middleton and Markle have no beef. What’s more, Middleton and Prince William publicly wished Markle a happy birthday earlier this week. While there might be a certain level of awkwardness between the former fab four, there is no animosity between the two duchesses. That aside, the story is peppered with questionable details that have previously been refuted by Prince Harry and Markle.

For instance, the story mentions how the forthcoming release, “Finding Freedom” came through with the help of people from the Sussexes inner circle. Disclaimer: There’s no relevance to this statement as Harry and Markle have categorically mentioned that they have NOT contributed to the book in any way.

While it’s sad that the royal brothers had to part ways, there no real truth in either of the parties trying to wash dirty linen in public.

There’s also no refuting that the tabloid has time and again devised ways to tarnish the reputation of Markle. While the former “Suits” actress and her husband couldn’t care less about sleazy tabloid gossip, it’s really unbecoming of the publication to repeatedly publish bogus stories about Markle apparently banning the Queen from seeing Archie, or even a “divorce over her second pregnancy.”

Case in point: Tabloids really need to take a break from conjuring up tales about Markle. It’s getting very odd, to be honest.
