Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting their first child this summer but they aren't expecting any baby gifts, instead the parents-to-be have expressed their wish for friends and family to donate to the Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
The power couple has revealed that they do not have a baby registry despite all of the fake Kardashian-West baby registries that continually pop up. Instead they want those close to them to support not just their baby, but all children by donating to the pediatric hospital in West's hometown.
The Lurie Children's Hospital issued a statement expressing their gratitude and excitement, "Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago would like to extend its sincerest gratitude to Kim Kardashian and Kayne West for their thoughtfulness and support of the hospital. We wish them all the best in the upcoming arrival of their baby. Funds donated on behalf of Kardashian and West will be directed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Fund which will help care for the most critically-ill babies and their families."

It seems the couple is really embracing soon-to-be parenthood and turning over a new charitable leaf. Kanye West has a troubled past in regards to charitable donations, Kayne actually has his own charity "The Kanye West Foundation." However, in 2010 an analysis of taxes revealed that "The Kanye West Foundation" totaled expenses of $572,383, with the majority going to salaries and other expenses. All the while, the charity did not donate anything to charity in 2010, according to a tax return of that year "The Kanye West Foundation" made $0 in contributions to charity.
Kanye confirmed the pregnancy of girlfriend Kim Kardashian during his December concert in Atlantic City where she was in attendance with friends.
