Move over Henry Cavill! Kaley Cuoco has another man that has swept her off her feet, and is about to call her his wife. That's right, after dating for only three months, Ryan Sweeting popped the question to his "Big Bang Theory" sweetheart and Kaley said yes, her rep confirmed to Us Weekly. "It's only been three months but she knows Ryan is the one," a source close to the actress said to the magazine. "When you know, you know." The two made their official "debut" as a couple last weekend at Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmys bash just two days before Cuoco showed off her handsome beau at the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Sweeting proposed on Wednesday, Sept. 25, and soon after Kaley posted some cryptic messages on her social media accounts that hinted that something big was going on in her life. "Flying high, I could literally touch the sky with you ... " she tweeted to her 1.6 million followers. On her Instagram account, she shared a snapshot with her best friend Ashley and sister Briana. "A sweet celebration w my sweet soul sisters," the caption wrote. Another telling Instagram snapshot depicted two adorable penguins walking side-by-side. "I love u @ryansweething :)" she captioned it.
Besides her burst of love on social media, rumors that the actress could be engaged became stronger when she stepped onto the set of "The Wedding Ringer" with an engagement ring on. At first it wasn't clear if the ring was hers or if it was just a prop for the film. "The Wedding Ringer," due out next year, also features Tony winner Josh Gad, Hunger Games' Alan Ritchson, Mimi Rogers, and Kevin Hart. Obviously, the gorgeous ring wasn't a prop.
So we know that Kaley and Ryan have been together for around three months, but who exactly is this guy who stole the heart of our favorite Cheesecake Factory server on prime time TV? We've put together five fast facts that will convince you that he's the perfect guy for her.
1) Ryan Sweeting is a professional tennis player who turned pro in 2006, according to E! In 2011, he won his first ATP World Tour singles title, and he's currently ranked at 532 by the ATP, with his career high being 64. Sweeting's been playing the sport since age 6, living and training in Fort Lauderdale from the time he was 12. And Kaley shares that passion too, since she was a nationally ranked amateur tennis player as a kid.
2) He is head over heels for Kaley. Ryan loves posting pics of the couple on Instagram under the handle @ryansweething. "Am I not the luckiest?? @normancook," he captioned a sweet photo of the pair just one week ago. "Date night with my angel #headoverheels @normancook," he wrote of another pic. And in case you haven't had enough cuteness, Sweeting also shared a photo of the pair two weeks ago, captioning the precious pic, "I love my baby #angel."
3) He loves babies. If you stalk his Instagram account a little bit, you'll see a bunch of pictures of him with the cutest baby ever. And when you see a 6'5 man melting over a baby, most definitely your uterus will skip a beat. We're assuming the baby girl is his niece, or maybe he has a child from a previous relationship because he tattooed the baby's face on his arm; but one thing is for sure, we can't get over the adorable hashtags he uses to caption her pics like #cynthiagrace, #sugglingrules and #perfect. And in case that's not enough, he also shared a more recent shot, saying, "Love this little lady #cynthiagrace #butnodiapers." First comes love, then comes marriage and then comes Kaley with a baby carriage?
4) Ryan is an animal lover. Or at least he's becoming one after hanging out with Kaley's rescued pit bulls. He regularly posts Instagram photos of his fiancée's furry friends, obviously enjoying their company. "Heaven @normancook #dontwakemeup," he captioned a recent photo of himself snuggling with Kaley's adorable pit bull in bed.
Although Ryan has managed to stay out of the public eye, we hope to see him more often at red carpet events with Kaley and we wish the newly engaged couple a lifetime of happiness together!
