Jennifer Lopez returned to her block for TNT’s "Neighborhood Sessions With Jennifer Lopez," where she visited several places around the borough, including her childhood home. The special also featured her first concert in the Bronx, which took place last June in Orchard Beach. Lopez has always been very keen on showing people where she comes from and how important it is to always remember that. “To this day my taste, my preferences, my outlook, my attitude, everything about me is so influenced by the fact I grew up in the Bronx,” said Lopez.

The new show “Neighborhood Specials” is a series of music specials in which performers highlight the communities where they come from. "When we were rehearsing I remember I looked back at the beach and my mom has pictures of me on that beach when I was like one year old. ... It was so rich and full of memories for me," JLo explained about her experience of having a concert in Orchard Beach last summer.

The cameras also followed the star when she took her 6-year-old twins, Max and Emme to the boys and girls club she went to as a child. "It was surreal to take them back there and show them like, `When I was a little kid this is where I used to run around and this was like the best place in the world to me' and them looking around like `Really? This place?' But it was true."

The episode aired on February 14, after the NBA All-Star Game on TNT and Vod. Check out a sneak peak in case you missed it!
