Jennifer Lopez just revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Sean “Diddy” Combs, has already reached out and apologized to her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. Diddy was involved in a controversy after he posted a questionable comment on one of Lopez’s Instagram photos.
During her interview on Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club,” Lopez said that Diddy wrote to Rodriguez after commenting and said that he didn’t mean anything by what he posted. Diddy also told Rodriguez that he respects him and Lopez.
Diddy previously commented “OMG” and included a heart eyes emoji on one of Lopez’s Instagram posts. The surprising comment fueled Rodriguez to write his own reaction to his fiancée’s picture. The former baseball player simply said that he’s lucky to be with Lopez.
During her interview, the “World Of Dance” star also shared her reaction to Rodriguez’s comment. She said that she wasn’t taken aback by her fiancé’s post because she actually loves the fact that he speaks his mind freely.
“He doesn’t play,” Lopez said. “He’s a crazy Dominican. Do not disrespect that man,” she added.
Lopez and Diddy dated from 1999 to 2001. During their two-year relationship, the couple made headlines due to their over-the-top romance and red carpet looks. In 2000, they attended the Grammys together, and Lopez made headlines for wearing a see-through Versace dress with a deep plunging neckline.
The “Shades Of Blue” star was last seen in public with Diddy last year when the latter watched the former’s Las Vegas residency. During one of her performances, Lopez sang to Diddy while Rodriguez looked on.
Lopez and Rodriguez announced their engagement last month. The couple has been dating for two years, and they have also blended their respective families together. Lopez is a mom to her 11-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez is a dad to his 10-year-old daughter Ella and 14-year-old Natasha with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
As of late, details about Lopez and Rodriguez’s wedding are still being kept under wraps. But it will most likely feature some of the biggest names in the entertainment and sports industry.
