Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Lawrence has a bun in the oven and it's now on full display after the glowing mother-to-be's representative confirmed it earlier this week.
New pregnancy photos of the Oscar-winning actress emerged on the Internet following confirmation she's expecting her first child with non-showbiz husband Cooke Maroney, whom she married in October 2019 at a mansion in Newport, Rhode Island, USA Today reported.
In 2019, JLaw got candid and shared about how at ease she was when planning the nuptials on the "NAKED with Catt Sadler" podcast.
“I’ve been in a good place. I haven’t been neurotic about it. I’m, like, too lazy to be neurotic," she said. “I saw a dress I liked. I was like, ‘That’s the dress.’ I saw a venue, I was like, ‘Cool, we got the venue.' ”
Her 2019 wedding at the famed Belcourt of Newport mansion saw celebrity guests Adele, Kris Jenner, Amy Schumer, Emma Stone, Nicole Richie, Ashley Olsen, and Cameron Diaz all in attendance, according to Page Six.
Lawrence previously dated "mother!" director Darren Aronofsky before meeting Maroney and confessed that she was not yet thinking about marriage at the time.
She began sneaking out on dates with Maroney in the summer of 2018 after meeting the art gallerist through her gal pal Laura Simpson. The pair then confirmed their engagement in February 2019.
"I just met Cooke, and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend, so I want to legally bind him to me forever," she joked, then later admitted her husband is her favorite person on the planet.
Cooke is the art director of the Gladstone Gallery, which has locations in New York City, Los Angeles, and Brussels.
News of the "Hunger Games" star's pregnancy comes at the back of the much-awaited release of her Netflix dark comedy film "Don’t Look Up" with award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, with the Hollywood stars reportedly making a mammoth salary of a combined $74 million.
The show, which will first air on the streaming platform on Dec. 24, reportedly earned DiCaprio a $40 million salary and Lawrence a $34 million payday, according to News. com.au.
"Don’t Look Up" unveiled its first teaser trailer on Sept. 9, which features Lawrence and DiCaprio as two astronomers scrambling to warn humans of an approaching comet that can potentially wipe out Earth.
