Couples going through some tough times in their relationship can learn a thing or two from the amazing actress Jennifer Aniston. Even though her two marriages didn’t work out in the end, the “Friends” star still managed to remain friends with both her ex-husbands Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.
But unlike Pitt, Theroux still shares one passion with Aniston even after their divorce. “They differed on a lot of things — where to live, how to handle the paparazzi, the types of hotels to stay in, but one thing they were always on the same page about was their dogs,” a source told close to the ex-couple revealed.
In fact, they pamper their pets to no end. “They loved their animals and felt strongly about choosing rescue dogs,” the source added. “No expense was spared; the dogs had great care. People used to joke that the dogs had a better life than they did!”
Aniston and Theroux came together this week for one of the pets, but it was not a joyful reunion. The exes came together to say their final goodbye to one of their pets, Dolly, which recently passed away.
Theroux even posted a tribute to Dolly on Instagram. “Tonight, at sunset, after a heroic struggle... our most loyal family member and protector, Dolly A. laid down her sword and shield. __ She was surrounded by her entire family,” the actor wrote.
Meanwhile, a source told Hollywood Life the reason Aniston still contacted Theroux about Dolly’s death. “So with this loss, she made sure that Justin was involved because they both loved Dolly so much,” the source told the publication. “It’s very draining to hold such bad vibes about a person and that is why Jen is still friendly with Justin, especially in times of loss, and that is why she also got to a better place with Brad [Pitt].”
Despite sharing the same grief for the loss of their companion, Aniston and Theroux won’t still be reconciling, however. “And, speaking of a relationship, this will not rekindle those [romantic] feelings. They are just friends who honored their great friend, their wonderful dog Dolly,” the source clarified.
Aniston and Theroux married in 2015 but divorced in 2017. But unlike the hate-filled divorces experienced by other couples, their split was an amicable one. And there were no fights, nor did they say hurtful things against each other.
