Samsung hit gold with a new partnership with rap mogul Jay-Z. The highly anticipated "Magna Carta Holy Grail," album from rap icon Jay-Z will be made available for free to the first 1 million Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2 owners who download a special app.

The app, which can be downloaded starting on June 24, is said to provide an "unprecedented inside look into the album personal stories and inspiration," and will also unlock the new album on July 4, three days before it officially goes on sale for the non-Galaxy owning world.

The album will be available for free on July the 4th to the first million Samsung Galaxy S III, S4 and Galaxy Note II users and released to the rest of the world 3 days later on the 7th. According to the Wall Street Journal, Samsung paid $5 for each of the 1 million copies that will be distributed to Samsung users so that means the album has $5 million of sales already.

The commercial features Jay hanging out in the studio with producers Rick Rubin, Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beats and Timbaland. Make sure to catch it below.
"The album is about, like this duality of how do you navigate through this whole thing, through success, through failures, through all this and remain yourself," Jay-Z tells his collaborators.
