It seems like Apple fans better start saving their money because the company is ready to start producing its next iteration of the iPhone. The Commercial Times is reporting that Taiwan’s Pegatron Corporation, who is a key player in producing Apple iPhone’s and iPad’s is all set to start manufacuting the iPhone 6. The news outlet has it on good authority that the manufacturer has opened a new factory space on the outskirts of Shanghai at Kushan. Tech Radar is reporting that Pegatron is also said to be in the middle of “a hiring spree to fill the imminent iPhone 6 orders.”
TechRadar also reports that this burst of activity from the manufacturers is due to preparation of the iPhone 6 which is to begin the second quarter. However, the news outlet was not able to give an exact date. The Commercial Times adds that Hon Hai Precision industry, also known as Foxconn, will be a main iPhone manufacturer along with Pegatron.
While no official features have been revealed for the iPhone 6 it seems Apple will be focusing on health with this next device. Speculations say the device will come in two sizes and have a larger screen to compete with Android devices. An iOS 8 leak shows a new app called Healthbook and many believe Apple will tweak this next iPhone to have features that accompany the app.
Meanwhile a new concept video has emerged online that shows what the next iPhone may look like. Check it out below and let us know what you think.
