How Jennifer Aniston Reacted To Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie PDA Photos

Jennifer Aniston split from Brad Pitt believing that his “Mr. And Mrs. Smith” co-star Angelina Jolie had nothing to do with their divorce. After their split, the couple stressed that their separation was not because of another woman.

Unfortunately, a few unpleasant surprises are on the way to Aniston, who was still trying to get over her very recent divorce from Pitt. For instance, photos of Jolie and Pitt, together with Angelina’s son Maddox, began making their rounds soon after their divorce.

In the photos, Pitt and Jolie can be seen frolicking on the beach at a resort in Africa where the couple was vacationing, along with Maddox. “The world was shocked, and I was shocked,” Aniston told Vanity Fair in an interview.

“It was extremely hurtful to Jen that he was seen with another woman so quickly after they were separated,” a friend close to Aniston also commented.

By this time, Aniston wisely chose to ignore the various theories and speculations made by the media about her divorce from Pitt. And she believed back then that all the stuff that people have been writing about her is just toxic to her.

“I have my imaginary dog cone on, so I don’t see anything. It just allows for a much more peaceful life,” Aniston likened her strategy of ignoring the press to that of a dog wearing a cone.

But of course even she can’t totally escape news and reports about her, Pitt and Jolie. It was at the height of all the drama after all. For Aniston, it was as if her ex-husband was “publicly flaunting the instant family he created with Jolie.” It was more than just humiliating. “I would be a robot if I said I didn’t feel moments of anger, of hurt, of embarrassment,” Aniston admitted to Vanity Fair.

But she had no choice but to deal with the issue, as well as her feelings. “I can’t say it was one of the highlights of my year,” Aniston added. “Who would deal with that and say, ‘Isn’t that sweet! That looks like fun!’? But shit happens. You joke and say, ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’”

Jolie would later on reveal that her relationship with Pitt started while filming “Mr. And Mrs. Smith.” Of course Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston at that time, and the revelation polarized fans into Team Jen vs. Team Angie.
