Hailey Baldwin just gave the best response to those who are still pairing her husband, Justin Bieber, with his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. Fans of the two singers recently claimed that they still belong to each other.
On her Instagram Story, the supermodel asked her supporters and critics to move on from pairing Bieber and Gomez with each other. The couple was on an on-again-off-again relationship because Bieber ultimately started dating Baldwin. Months later, the couple decided to tie the knot.
“You little Internet kiddos need to learn how to move on for real,” Baldwin wrote. “We’re adults that have better things to do than waste time explaining something just so you can stop your delusional fantasies. I’m not gonna sit here and let obsessive strangers try to tell me about my own husband. You wanna talk about somebody’s husband then get your own. G’night!!” she added.
In March, Bieber responded to a fan who said that he wasn’t really in love with Baldwin and accused him of only marrying the supermodel to get back at Gomez. Instagram user @jaileyisajoke also said that Baldwin has been sleeping around with random men, including Shawn Mendes, to gain popularity.
After reading the nasty comment, Bieber defended his decision to wed his wife. He also said that he’s madly in love with Baldwin.
“You’re immature and the fact that you have an account dedicated to dissing my wife and I is absolutely absurd,” Bieber wrote. “Why would I dedicate my whole life to someone in marriage to be back at my ex? Anyone who believes this is mean spirited or 10 years old or younger because a logical person doesn’t talk or think this way,” he added.
Bieber and Baldwin were photographed entering a marriage license courthouse in New York in September of last year, but it was only in November that they confirmed that they have tied the knot. After the confirmation, Baldwin changed her Instagram user from haileybaldwin to haileybieber. During her interview with Bustle, the supermodel said that she still needs some time to get used to her new surname.
