Justin Bieber’s Attempt To Protect Hailey Baldwin Backfires With Selena Gomez Link

Justin Bieber recently tried to defend Hailey Baldwin and their marriage from so-called bullies on Instagram. However, his attempt backfired after fans noticed a surprising link between the “Baby” singer and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

On his Instagram Story, Bieber uploaded a screenshot of another social media account called Baldwinstruth, which has allegedly been posting lies about the supermodel and Bieber. Bieber wrote a text in bold urging his supporters to report the account because the person behind it has been bullying him and his wife.

However, Bieber’s followers noticed that the screenshot also featured Gomez’s account under the singer’s Suggested for You tab. Bieber and Gomez are not following each other on the social media platform, but since they were once connected, Instagram suggested for the former to follow the latter.

Fans know this won’t happen now or anytime soon because Bieber and Gomez are not necessarily in good terms. The last time that Gomez posted about her ex-boyfriend was on March 1, 2018, to commemorate Bieber’s birthday.

Bieber and Gomez’s relationship quietly faded after the birthday post. Three months later, Bieber started dating Baldwin. And just one month later, the couple got engaged. In September, Bieber and Baldwin tied the knot in a New York City courthouse.

Last month, Bieber referenced Gomez for the last time by saying that while he will always love her, Baldwin is now his wife and everyone should accept and respect that.

“I absolutely loved and love Selena she will always hold a place in my heart,” Bieber wrote. “But I am head over heels in love with my wife and she is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me period … This is a reply to all immature sick people who send Hailey hurtful messages like ‘he always goes back to Selena’ or ‘Selena is better for him,’” he added.

Bieber also told everyone in the same post that they have no idea who and what is best for him because they do not know what his life is really like. He also said that those who won’t support the fact that Baldwin is his wife only proves that they don’t support him either.
