As if being named the "World's Most Beautiful Woman" wasn't enough for Gwyneth Paltrow, she had to step it up a notch the same day and prove everyone why she holds that title.
The 40-year-old beauty arrived on the red carpet at El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California for the "Iron Man 3" premiere wearing an Antonio Berardi dress, that everyone thought was a safe choice when she was stepping out of her car, until she approached the crowd and people's jaws dropped.
The gorgeous gown created the optical illusion of a curvy white silhouette down the middle, with a dark green peplum section only allowed for amazing bodies like hers, that matched the kimono-style arm cuffs. And of course, the mesh sheer panels on the sides, that left little to the imagination, but who's complaining?
"It's very see-through" Paltrow acknowledged of the outfit. "I just thought it was really beautiful and it sort of has a superhero thing happening".
Her makeup was very natural, allowing her skin to glow, but she did choose a bold purple nail polish, making her look more fun and allowing her fun personality to come out.
When asked about being named the most beautiful woman, she said she was "thrilled" but it's "obviously not true."
"It's funny, these things, because it's like obviously not true. But it's very sweet to be named that," Paltrow told The Associated Press. "Because I mean you can't say that, you know! But it's been wonderful. It's been very wonderful. And as my friend said, it's so nice that someone who has kids and is a mom and is not like 21 is named that. It's really an honor."
It was a real honor for us to watch this amazing body strolling down the red carpet in this magnificent creation that has left everyone breathless.
