Florida Model Kills Herself After Murdering Husband to Prevent Him from Leaving Her Over Affair: Family

A former New York City model killed herself after fatally shooting her husband multiple times to stop him from leaving over her affair.

On November 22, 2023, 27-year-old former model Sabrina Krasniqi shot her husband, 34-year-old day trader Pajtim Krasniqi, five times before turning the gun on herself in their luxury Florida condo, Vox reported.

The tragedy left family and friends reeling, with motives rooted in infidelity and an impending divorce.

Originally from New York City, the couple had moved to a high-rise condo in Hallandale Beach, Florida, two years prior.

Sabrina Krasniqi and Pajtim Krasniqi's marriage had deteriorated with escalating arguments reported by neighbors in recent weeks. Sabrina Krasniqi ultimately confessed to infidelity, leading Pajtim Krasniqi to express his intention to file for divorce.

Just after midnight, a gunfire detection system alerted police to the couple's 45th-floor condo.

Officers found Pajtim Krasniqi's and Sabrina Krasniqi's bodies on the balcony, surrounded by signs of a domestic dispute, including bullet holes in the glass door and pools of blood.

Investigators confirmed that Sabrina Krasniqi shot Pajtim Krasniqi before committing suicide.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the murder-suicide, including Sabrina Krasniqi's mental state and the couple's turbulent relationship.
