
"FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Legends" has officially been confirmed to be an Xbox One and Xbox 360 exclusive says EA. The game publisher issued a statement saying the news is true after box art for the title appearing online, which showed a sticker explaining certain features would only hit Microsoft platforms.
An EA spokesperson told Eurogamer, “We’re not talking about FUT 15 just yet but yes, Legends will continue to be only on Xbox platforms.”
Legends is set to add a number of legendary footballers to the FIFA Ultimate Team feature, with players included in FIFA 14 including the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Ruud Gullit and Freddie Ljunberg. Each player came replete with unique stats and were randomly included in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team Gold Packs when Xbox One launched at the tail-end of last year.
"Ultimate Team Legends" allows players to collect legendary stars of soccer throughout its history for Ultimate Team mode. According to CVG segendary players from "FIFA 14" included: Dennis Bergkamp, Luis Figo, Ruud Gullit, Gary Lineker, Pavel Nedved, Pelé, Romario and Patrick Vieira
"FIFA 15" is set to be the second title in the franchise to hit next-gen. The title is slated for release September 23 in North America and September 26 in Europe on 3DS, PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Wii, Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
