New York Fashion Week is here and the most prestigious and talented designers will be showing their Spring 2014 Collections. The spring and summer collection is always fun because designers are able to be more creative and use that pop of color that makes it or breaks it on the runway. With spring lines we can see the versatility that these creative minds have and we can draw from their inspiration for our own wardrobe. Walking down the runway we will see clothing lines from a vast array of Latin and Hispanic designers that include Uruguayan Gabriela Perezutti's "Candela" collection, Spain's "Desigual" brand, Argentine Designers, Custo Barcelona, Czar by Cesar Galindo and the always fabulous and chic Carolina Herrera. We can expect these designers to showcase their latest collections with international creatives like Rebecca Minkoff, Diane Von Furstenberg, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Steven Alan, Badgley Mischka, Vera Wang, Naeem Khan and many more.

The fun and excitment at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week starts this Thursday, September 5 at 9am with a show by Nicholas K. If you are not going to be at Lincoln Center and the hub of NYFW, you will be able to catch the show live and stream it on your computer or mobile device directly from the official website. The first day of shows will also include shows from David Tlale, Tadashi Shoji and Marissa Webb. This Friday will also include the runway for the finalists of Lifetime's "Project Runway" hosted by Heidi Klum, so you can take a sneak peek on who has a shot at winning the show.
