Meghan Markle is far from wading through the controversies that are coming her and Prince Harry’s way, post the recently aired bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The most recent name to join the list of her vicious critics is none other than half-sister Samantha Markle. Samantha recently made a sweeping statement about the Duchess during a radio show, and things only seem to be getting uglier between the step-siblings.
“I definitely see a narcissistic personality disorder. I’m not diagnosing her. She needs to see a counselor,” said Samantha Markle during her recent interview on “Fifi, Fev and Nick”, a popular radio show. Samantha went on to suggest that Harry might be a victim too – of the Stockholm syndrome. “I feel sorry for Harry,” she said, adding “She pulled him away from his family, all of his friends, the life that he knew. He reminds me of one of those kidnap victims who eventually starts to believe that their life was so horrible and they’re in love with their captor.”
Samantha’s caustic comments might be the result of Markle having thrown shade on the former during her appearance on Winfrey’s show. “I think it would be very hard to tell all when you don’t know me,” said Markle, speaking of her half-sister’s new “tell-all” memoir, “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1” Meghan, who clearly didn’t seem to have to do anything with Samantha, also claimed that it must’ve roughly been about two decades since she last interacted with her half-sister.
The statement was refuted by Samantha who shot back at Meghan’s comment, and remarked, “She had said, ‘I haven’t hadn’t seen Samantha for 19 years.’ Well, she was at my graduation from my bachelor's degree — there were so many photos in the media that are … about that, and that was 2008, so don’t know about you, but if you do the math, 2008 to now is not 19 years!”
But what seemed to really trigger Samantha was Meghan calling herself “an only child” on the show. “To suggest that she was an only child was really delusional,” said the half-sister, who also dissed Meghan’s remarks about being oblivious to Harry’s background before she met him. “She’s been seen in several photos in front of Buckingham Palace! She idolized Diana,’’ the sibling said, referring to Princess Di, Harry’s mother. In fact, Meghan went to great lengths to study Diana, to mimic her clothing, to mimic her body language, and to wear Diana’s perfume on their first date! Don’t tell me my sister didn’t know who Harry was!”
Samantha hinted at how the iconic TV show host should contemplate getting her favorite TV psychologist, Dr. Phil McGraw on board for a diagnosis on the Duchess. “[Oprah] needs to get Dr. Phil on my sister,’’ she averred, as cited in a report on Page Six.
