For those of you that have been playing "Dragon Ball: Xenoverse" you are in for a treat this week. The title is scheduled to receive an all-new expansion update.
According to reports, the new DLC for "Xenoverse," dubbed as the "Resurrection F" or "Revival of F" pack, will be released to commemorate the latest film in the "Dragon Ball" franchise. The expansion is said to feature additional content for the game including five new Parallel Quests, eight Master Quest and 14 additional new skills. The update will also feature two new masters Elder Kai and Jaco the Galactic Patrolman.
Furthermore, the expansion pack will introduce four new playable characters taken directly from the recently-released "Dragon Ball: Resurrection F" film. Gamers will now be able to play as Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegeta, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman and Golden Frieza.
Kotaku reported that SSGSS Goku's hair will turn blue instead of gold if players manage to acquire "godly ki" while in Super Saiyan form. Frieza's "Ultimate Evolution" is a transformation that turns the villain gold but it is very taxing on his stamina. Both characters have their own special moves such as the Ultimate Kamehameha and the Emperor's Death Beam Technique.
Additionally, the DLC will include two new costumes including Turtle Hermit's Aloha shirt and Gohan's tracksuit. There will also be two new accessories for players to try on: the Turtle Hermit set and Tagoma's Scouter. Lastly, the DLC will also be one new gesture or character stance and seven new Z Souls.
The last "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" DLC pack will be released for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Bandai Namco has previously released a "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" costume pack for season pass owners. Steam Players from Europe and America can register their free key in the Bandai Namco VIP corner.
