Donald’s Trump Ex-Wife Ivana’s Funeral In NYC Set For Wednesday

Funeral of Ivana Trump, the ex-wife of former President Donald Trump, will be held in New York City on Wednesday.

It will take place at the famed St. Vincent de Ferrer Catholic Church on Lexington Avenue, said sources. The church, which is an architectural masterpiece, was where visual artist and director Andy Warhol prayed. It was where politician Geraldine Ferraro was memorialized at her own funeral.

According to Showbiz 411, the choice for Ivana's funeral is very appropriate. St. Vincent was the saint of builders, and Ivana rebuilt the Plaza Hotel when Trump bought it. She restored it to grandeur and built businesses and a life for herself after Trump was caught having an affair.

It is said that Marla Maples, the wife who succeeded Ivana, and Marla’s daughter with Trump, Tiffany Trump, are not invited to the funeral. Mary Trump, the cousin who revealed a lot of family secrets in interviews and books, is not expected to be on the list either. There are reports that Trump himself will attend the funeral, along with his current wife Melania. Trump would probably consider the occasion a perfect way to get attention and sympathy just as he and daughter Ivanka are set to testify in front of New York State Attorney General Letitia James.

A source said that Trump talked to Ivana regularly and "sent flowers on every birthday and other occasions,” reported New York Post. The source shared that they have been told the former President is "very upset.” As for him attending the funeral, the source said that if Trump does attend the service, he will come without Melania.

For the socialite businesswoman’s funeral, mourners will be flying in from Europe, insiders said. The service, which is set to begin at 1. 30 p.m., was announced in a “Celebration of Life” invitation. It featured a glamorously dressed younger Ivana, who was once a competitive skier. A source added that in lieu of flowers, it’s requested that "donations go to the big dog rescue."

Ivana passed away on Thursday in New York City, and on Friday, the NYC Office of the Chief Medical Examiner revealed that the 73-year-old's death was accidental, reported The Sun. Before she was with Trump, Ivana was married to Alfred Winklmayr. Later she wed Riccardo Mazzucchelli and then Rossano Rubicondi.
