'Despertar Contigo' Univision Telenovela Finale: When, Where To Watch Last Episode Of Series

Univision is set to air the last episode of "Despertar Contigo," the telenovela starring Ela Velden and Daniel Arenas. The soap was a comedy mixed with melodrama that was fun from the very beginning. Now it's time to say goodbye to these characters that we have come to adore. The Spanish-language network will be broadcasting the finale starting at 7pm ET/PT and live streaming on the UnivisionNOW app (subscription necessary). What will happen to Maia and Pablo?

Ela Velden played Maia, a ice and beautiful young girl who keeps her humbleness despite being rich and having a father who spoils her. She is Carmen and Othón’s daughter and she suffered greatly when her younger brother, Gael, died. She studied medicine and her main concern is helping others. Federico is her wooer, but she doesn’t really like him since she considers him a hypocrite. This is why she falls immediately in love with Pablo’s spontaneity and honesty... although she ignores what he is hiding.

Daniel Arenas was Pablo, a man that desire to help others and risk his life for them runs in his blood. He became a bodyguard after his mother forbade him to be a fireman just like his grandfather and his father were, since the latter died in the line of duty. He is the head of the squad responsible for protecting Antonia. He is Tulia and Herminio’s son, and brother of Cristian and Jenny Paola. He has been dating Cindy for years, but he doesn’t love her anymore; his life takes a twist when he meets Maia as he completely falls in love with her, but nonetheless he really loves her, he is compelled to fool her in order to be with her.
