If anyone knows how to be the master of change, it's Demi Lovato. This former Disney starlet has probably had the whole rainbow in her hair, as she likes to try different colors depending on the season. Her last dye job was a hot pink that actually looks quite great on her. She did this to kick off her Neon Lights Tour, and just weeks after she began taking her show all across the country, she’s decided that she needed another change.
Although this time she stayed with the same pink, she decided to tackle the one thing that had remained a constant through all these changes: her hair length. No, she didn’t join the “pixie cut” madness that’s going around Hollywood lately, it would be a shame if she lost all her gorgeous locks. Instead, to have the cake and eat it too, she shaved a side of her head and left the other half intact.
“So.... This happened...... Oops. #NEONLIGHTSTOUR” she captioned a post on her Twitter on Tuesday, that showed a buzzer and a lock of her pink hair. That was the first hint that she had done something dramatic to her look. Although we were eager to see the results on her, we weren’t too scared that she would pull a Britney.
Moments later, Demi posted another photo, this time showcasing the new ‘do. She actually looked pretty good, although her face was somewhat confused, as if she wasn’t sure she liked what she had done. However, she captioned it “IDGAF,” which means “I don’t give a f**k.” Later on that night, she posted two more selfies showing different angles of her haircut, but she “officially” debuted it on stage that same night at the Bethlehem, Pa. stop of her Neon Lights Tour.
