Netflix has finally revealed the official premiere date for the second season of Marvel's "Daredevil." Previous rumors said the series would arrive March 25, the same day as "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," however the Netflix Original Series will arrive one week earlier on March 18.
Meanwhile, Netflix also revealed a new teaser trailer for the forthcoming season. The video is mostly comprised of images from the first season, but does end with an ode to the arrival of Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher (Jon Bernthal). Furthermore, the streaming service released a new teaser poster, which uses the same imagery from the trailer.
This season of "Daredevil" will see the addition of a few iconic Marvel characters and have Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) facing all new dangers. The season synopsis reads:
"Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero."
