After a 10 year absence, Daddy Yankee will once again storm the stage at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
This doesn't mean he's been m.i.a., no señor! In fact, he's visited the venue many times as part of other concerts and festivals, but this is the first time since 2005 that King Daddy will headline his own show.
"King Daddy: El Concierto" will invade the world's most famous arena on September 19, where he will sing current hits such as "Sigueme y te Sigo" and undoubtedly his classic jams. His gig will also include guest appearances by some of his colleagues, who are yet to be revealed. In addition to his show in New York, DY is expected to raid other U.S. cities. He's currently embarking a Europe tour during the month of July.
The last time El Cangri raided MSG was ten years ago when he released his album "Barrio Fino en Directo" ---live version of his debut album "Barrio Fino." This was when "Gasolina" was all the freaking rage (just so you have an idea of how long it's been!)
The Puerto Rican artist and former La Voz Kids coach is clearly stoked with the forthcoming event. Check out the video promo he dropped this week (see below)!
Tickets for "King Daddy: El Concierto" will go on sale July 16 through Ticketmaster or MSG.
