After weeks of speculation Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez has confirmed she is pregnant and expecting her first baby. The 23-year-old model made the announcement in HOLA magazine and said in an interview: “I love children, nature, animals. I have a cat, who’s now three, who is my best friend. I love surrounding myself with people who inspire me to be a better person every day, and who bring good energy.” At the moment, the Real Madrid star has not confirmed that he's expecting a baby with his Spanish model girlfriend.
Ronaldo recently welcomed twins via surrogacy. After he shared the news on his Instagram account with a photo of himself and his eldest son holding the babies, Alicia Machado weighed in on the subject and took shots at the soccer player for having babies via surrogacy. "Poor little ones," she wrote. "My position continues to be radical. Why do that with so many babies in his native Brasil that are dying of hunger and have no place to live. Kids are not mascots nor scientific experiments. Selfishness is so big that he goes out and make babies. The liberty of opinion." Note that Machado said Ronaldo was from Brasil, which is not correct as the Real Madrid star is from Portugal.
The former Miss Universe did not stop there as she received backlash from her deplorable comments and she went on to write: "Vernacular machos always come out and bark, I didn't know where he was from. What I can see is the misery. #ADOPT is the best way to show the souls nobility. A group of machos barking. Kisses."
Cristiano has been dating Georgina Rodriguez, who was his date at the Best FIFA Football Awards and made a splash at the time. Rodriguez is 23 years old and grew up in Jaca, a city of northeastern Spain in the province of Huesca, located near the Pyrenees and the border with France. She worked for a Gucci store and according to the Sun, she met Ronaldo at a Dolce & Gabbana event. Georgina had been spotted with the soccer player on numerous occasions, one being the time they went to Disneyland Paris in France. The Spanish beauty studied dance before becoming a model.
Ronaldo currently has three children and it was revealed that he eventually wants to have a total of seven as that's his lucky number. “Cristianinho is very happy. He’s doing well and says he wants more brothers and sisters. He wants seven, the magic number, and I think that’s good," he said during an interview.
Aside from being a famous soccer star and a great dad, Cristiano also has an underwear line. Back in 2013 he launched CR7 a collection of undergarments that the athlete approves of. Richard Chai was the American designer behind it all. The New York native had worked as a designer for Donna Karan and he was the Design Director for Marc Jacobs' the men's and women's collection from 1998 to 2001. In 2010 he was named Swarovski Menswear Designer of the Year at the 2010 CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards. "The amazing thing about this project is that you have someone like Cristiano Ronaldo who is the most recognized and most celebrated athlete in the world starting a project ... that makes sure it's done with integrity," Chai says about working on the collection.
