The Clemson Tigers started their 2013 campaign with a thrilling 38-35 home victory over the Georgia Bulldogs. Taking down a team many expected would compete for a National Championship this season, the Tigers made their mark early and have been perfect ever since. Reeling off consecutive victories against South Carolina State, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Syracuse and Boston College since defeating Georgia, head coach Dabo Swinney and the Tigers looked poised for a deep run but the biggest test comes next in the form of undefeated and No. 5 Florida State.

"Obviously, we know it's a big game, got a lot of national relevance, conference relevance and all that," Swinney said of the match-up against a Florida State team that defeated the Tigers 49-37 in Tallahassee a year ago and who has defeated Clemson in 3 of the last 5 meetings. "If you really change from what you normally do, then you send the wrong message. I know it's not that way for fans, but that's the way it has to be for us to be consistent."

Florida State enters the Top 5 showdown with a perfect record of 5-0. With both teams undefeated in the ACC Atlantic Division - Clemson 4-0 and FSU 3-0 - the top honor in the standings is also at stake, adding another level of importance to a match-up many believe will have national championship implications.

"Clemson is an important game but it's not the last one," Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher said. "We still have seven games to play. I do not de-emphasize Clemson one bit, but we have to remember we have seven games to play. This is the next one and it's the most important because it's the next one. If you want to accomplish things you have to overcome huge challenges. That's part of the world of competition, the world of athletics and that's why we love it so much."
