Chris Brown has been accused of injuring a 24-year-old woman inside of a nightclub in California. Deanna Gines, the alleged victim, says she might even need surgery after the incident.

Brown performed at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California, and stayed in the VIP section afterwards. Gines said that she was partying with Chris in that area of the venue, and when the club was about to close, she claims the singer deliberately shoved her to the ground and she fell hard on her knees.

Deanna, listed as a model and actress on a talent agency's webpage, filed a report with local police who are now investigating the incident. While they have confirmed a statement has been taken, they did not say if it was in relation to Chris and no arrests have been made.

Gines reportedly went to the hospital, where doctors told her she had torn ligaments in her right knee. She's going to see another specialist later this week and she says she's already been told she might need surgery. In a photo posted by TMZ, Deanna is in a leg brace and on crutches.

Chris Brown's rep, Nicole Perna, told TMZ, "I'm unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse. None of this makes sense."

She also opened up to HollywoodLife.com: "We don't believe this happened. The club says they are unaware of this happening. The girl has not come in in-person to the station and she would not go into details with the police regarding her injuries, she only told them that she was pushed. She said all of this over the phone. She also didn't call the police at the time she's saying the alleged assault happened. It seems very suspicious."

Brown took the alleged incident to social media in a tweet he later deleted: "Please stop with the false stories. I don't usually comment but I didn't do anything. Had a great show at Powerhouse and a positive one."
