Child Battered By Guardian For Refusing Sex, Celebrity Stands Up For Young Girl

A fast-rising actress has is seeking justice for a young girl who was physically abused by her uncle in Lagos. The little girl named Mary was allegedly assaulted by her guardian and was also not paid her salary since she moved in with the family.

Iheme Nancy posted photos of the victim, saying that the abuse happened while they were filming in Badore. The girl from Calabar was said to be brutally beaten by the man inside their house for not wanting to have sex with him. She added that they had the man arrested and added that they do not want him to get off that easily.

“Let’s help her get justice. Tag anyone that will help save her and reunite her with her parents, because she is a result of child trafficking.'' Nancy’s social media post read.

When the actress posted the photos on social media, many criticized her for just wanting attention and getting clout. Below was her response to those allegations.

''How can one be saying I’m clout chasing with a case as sensitive as this ... I’m a woman, I can’t stand and see my little sister like this heaven knows that head will roll... I don’t know her From anywhere but I was touched when I saw what A so-called guardian did to someone’s daughter were is your conscience? If your daughter or sister is brutally beaten like this because of her refusal to have sex a beast ..tell me how will you feel?? If you come to tell me rubbish I swear on Gaaaaaaaaaaaad I will rubbish you''

Additionally, the 14-year-old girl also recounted the abuse and narrated how her guardian sexually harassed her. She was promised pay of $20 but was never given her salary since she arrived.

She added that the man told her to sleep with him but she refused. She was promised N10,000 if she had sex with him so that she could buy anything she wanted.

“I said no that my mother would no and he said if your mother knows, she would not do anything. I said no that I am a virgin and I don't want somebody to disvirgin me and that I have to finish my secondary school,” Mary said.
