Hola Carlos!
Charlie Sheen is finally embracing his Hispanic roots and is being credited with his real name for the first time. That's right! Say "hola" to Carlos Estévez.
No, we're not joking. That's his real name. Charlie's father, Martin Sheen, whose real name is Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estévez and is from Spanish descent, decided to change his name to get more acting jobs, and eventually Charlie did the same.
Charlie Sheen's decision to change back his name came after being cast in the Robert Rodríguez movie "Machete Kills," as it's known that the director likes to bolster Latino heritage in his work.
The 47-year-old Sheen plays a U.S. president who tasks assassin Machete Cortez (Danny Trejo) to "battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space," according to IMDB.
Joining Sheen and Trejo are also Sofía Vergara, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodríguez, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Cuba Gooding Jr., Lady Gaga, Vanessa Hudgens, Amber Heard and Demián Bichir.
