Channing Tatum and Jessie J. have broken up again. It can be recalled that the duo got back together in January following a brief split that ended their year-long relationship.
According to a source, Channing Tatum and Jessie J. tried to make things work but they realized they’re better off as friends. “They cared enough about each other to try again but realized it was better to move on,” said the source.
Asked about the split, the source revealed that it was “totally amicable” and that both acknowledged the fact that the timing of their relationship was off. “He is super busy with his career and as a dad,” the source said. “He has a world awaiting him and is trying to manage how busy he is which isn’t easy,” he added.
The 39-year-old “Magic Mike” star was previously married to Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares 6-year-old daughter Everly. They split in early 2018. Months following their split, Tatum confirmed on Instagram his relationship with “Price Tag” singer Jessie J. when he shared a photo of her performing in front of a large crowd.
“This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow,” he wrote in the caption.
In December 2019, Tatum and Jessie J. called it quits after over a year of dating. At the time of their breakup, a source revealed that it was due to their busy schedules.
In January, however, Tatum confirmed that he and Jessie J. were officially back together, sharing an Instagram photo of them cuddling up together. That same night, Jessie J. shared a clip of their red carpet debut, revealing how she felt “happiness from the inside out” with Tatum.
“I love you so much baby @channingtatum,” she captioned the clip. “The way you love me and the way I love you and the way we feel it is all that matters,” she added.
The last time the couple posted a photo of them together was in February, when they celebrated Valentine’s Day together.
