Someone Keeps Shooting at Kamala Harris's Campaign Office in Arizona

The office representing Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign as well as the Democratic Party in Tempe, Arizona, has been shot at on 3 separate occasions that all occurred within less than a month.

On Sunday, an unknown suspect damaged the office with gunfire once again, just a few days before Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, are scheduled to visit Arizona on their campaign trail.

No one was injured in the incident, or in the two incidents prior, police told ABC News.

The Tempe Police Department was able to provide an image of the suspect's vehicle, which may be a 2008-2013 silver Toyota Highlander. Furthermore, a $1,000 reward has been issued by Silent Witness "for any information that leads to the arrest or indictment of the suspect(s) involved in this crime."

This comes less than two weeks after the same office sustained damage from gunfire in a prior incident.

"We can confirm that on 9/23/24, what appears to be damage from gunfire at ... a DNC Campaign Office, was discovered," Tempe police told NBC News.

"No one was inside the office during the overnight hours, but this raises concerns about the safety of those who work in that building, as well as those nearby," said Public Information Officer Sgt. Ryan Cook.

The shootings seem to have begun on Sept. 16, when law enforcement noted that the windows of the office were seemingly damaged by a BB gun or pellet gun.

Arizona Democratic Party Chairwoman Yolanda Bejarano expressed her disappointment towards the incident in a statement, stating that it was "extremely sad that the Arizona Democratic Party has become the target of violence – it's not who we are as Arizonans or Americans."

"We are working with law enforcement to ensure this threat is taken seriously and that our staff members are safe while they're at work," she continued.
