Television network Bravo has been served a subpoena on Wednesday by lawyers fighting against TV personality Erika Jayne and estranged husband Tom Girardi as they seek any unaired footage of the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star in the hopes it could support their embezzlement battle.
According to Attorney Jay Edelson, who previously worked with Girardi, Bravo has "hundreds of hours of unaired footage" that directly relates to the lawsuit he previously filed against the reality TV star, Fox News reported.
Last year, the lawyer slapped Jayne and her estranged husband with a suit in December for allegedly embezzling money through their “sham” divorce, claiming the money was meant for Lion Air Flight 610 victims.
He further accused the couple of the fraud to “project a public image of obscene wealth."
"So far, Bravo has chosen to use the Girardi embezzlement scandal to increase ratings and make significant money for itself," he said. "The victims have had to endure watching the ‘Real Housewives’ cast do things like eating caviar pie and drink specially-made vodka served by white-gloved staff as they pay lip service to the lives Tom has ruined."
"Erika cried crocodile tears as she was ‘forced to move into a $10,000-a-month apartment while she and her glam squad parade around in a lifestyle few of us will ever know," he added.
The 50-year-old singer had previously claimed on an episode of the "RHOBH" in Season 11 that she had "zero dollars" and was left bankrupt but the New York Times exposed she was actually pocketing a whopping $600,000 for that season alone, the Daily Mail noted.
Edelson went further to call on Bravo producers to stop protecting Erika and not impair their probe so his team could recover the allegedly embezzled money for the victims.
The show is reportedly airing its Season 12 much earlier than expected to again take advantage of the controversial storyline.
Meanwhile, Jayne’s attorney, Evan C. Borges, would clap back at the legal paperwork and called it "another desperation move" directed at his client.
He noted they have provided all relevant bank accounts and financial information in Erika’s possession while filing for bankruptcy and the divorce, according to Page Six.
“There’s only a small amount of additional information that I need to provide to the trustee, which along with everything else we’ve provided, shows that Erika’s divorce filing was for legitimate reasons and she has been trying to make it on her own.”
The “XXPEN$IVE” singer filed for divorce from Girardi in November, ending their 20-year union.
