In Boardwalk Empire's last episode Nucky's shipment from Florida arrived with some unexpected cargo: his partner Sally Wheet. Nucky seemed a bit dismayed at first, but ended up having relations with the southern belle. Willie finally got a job in Atlantic City as the mayor's lackey. Meanwhile, Eli was backed into a corner when Agent Knox told him that if he gives up Nucky, he can stay out of jail for the murder of his Temple classmate. After talking things over with Nucky, Willie reconsidered some recent life choices. Chalky threw down the gauntlet to Valentin Narcisse at a play that Narcisse was putting on. Narcisse tried to have Chalky killed, but the plan didn't go well, as Daughter Maitland killed the assassin - her alliances are now split between Chalky and Dr. Narcisse.
In tonight's show, Chalky goes to Nucky and informs him that it was Doctor Narcisse behind the heroin and the death of the Deacon. Nucky questions why Chalky is asking him to impose a death sentence. Chalky replies, "Who is Asking?" It looks like Van Alden is going to be working for Al Capone from now on. He asks all for $1,000 to blow O'Banion's head off. Doctor Narcisse kind of threaten's Nucky, big mistake. He does not realize how tight Nucky and Chalky are. Will Eli give up his brother? How will Dr. Narcisse react to the death of Dunn Purnsley?
