At least ten people have been reported injured while two have been pronounced dead, after a horrific series of shootings that started around 4 p.m. in New York City on Saturday and lasted until well past midnight.

At around 9 p.m., a 17-year-old boy was fatally gunned down while four others were left seriously wounded at a Bronx park, police reported. The shooting incident happened in Claremont Park behind a McDonald’s at 1625 Webster Avenue.

The New York Post reported that Armanis Valdez was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was rushed to the BronxCare Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.

Four other bystanders were shot in the area around the same time: a 31-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg, a 28-year-old woman who was shot in the right leg, a 25-year-old man who was shot twice in the right leg, and a 24-year-old man who was shot in the right buttocks and left leg, police reports show.

The four other victims are receiving treatment and now in stable condition, authorities confirmed.

Just three hours later, an unidentified 34-year-old man was fatally shot in front of an apartment building in Fordham Heights, AM New York reported. Law enforcement responded to 340 East 184th St., at about 12:31 a.m. amid a series of gunshots to find the victim had been shot in the abdomen.

He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has been withheld by law enforcement pending notifications to his next of kin.

Meanwhile, Shawn Spencer, 41, was shot in the leg by two suspects around 11:30 p.m during a dispute at a 7-11 convenience store on 8th Avenue and 37th Street, the NYPD said.

Investigators said that his assailants Abdoulahi Dialloand, 25, and Tawania Thomas, 27, are facing charges after the police recovered a gun in their possession, Fox News wrote.

Two teenagers were also reportedly shot and wounded in Eastchester Gardens, while a man was taken to Lincoln Hospital after being shot near 168th Street and University Avenue. Just steps from Fordham University, another victim was hit by a bullet at 2579 Decatur Avenue.

Another woman was also injured after being shot on Beach 56th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens. Only the boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island reported no shootings during the bloody Saturday night.

The 11th victim of the gruesome eight-hour stretch was a person who was shot and injured near the Port Authority bus station in Midtown Manhattan.
