Ben Affleck Allegedly Strikes Up ‘Flirty Friendship’ With ‘The Last Duel’ Costar Jodie Comer

Ben Affleck has reportedly struck up a flirty friendship with his newest costar, Jodie Comer. The actors will be starring in the upcoming movie “The Last Duel.”

A tabloid claimed that Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband has set his sights on Comer. An unnamed source also told the tabloid that it was Affleck who wanted to cast Comer for the role.

“If you ask me, Ben’s got his sights on more than just a working relationship,” the source said. “Ben knew she would be perfect for the role he had in mind for her, but more than that, once he met her in person, he was captivated. He’s been texting her for weeks now,” the source added.

The source went on to say that Comer is also interested in getting to know Affleck. In fact, the actress couldn’t wait to go out on a date with her costar to see if they would click beyond their professional relationship.

But according to rumor-debunking site Gossip Cop, the fact that the tabloid didn’t reveal the name of their source could only mean that their story was made up. The publication also reached out to Affleck’s spokesperson and was told that the claims were fabricated.

According to Gossip Cop, the unfounded claims by the tabloid no longer surprised them because the same tabloid has been publishing fake stories about Affleck. Just last month, the tabloid claimed that Garner and Affleck have gotten back together. They also said that the couple will tie the knot again in Hawaii.

The same tabloid also said that Affleck and Garner are going to have another baby to celebrate the former’s sobriety. However, this isn’t true either. Garner is still dating John Miller.

There have also been multiple instances wherein the tabloid linked Affleck to another personality. For instance, Affleck was rumored to be secretly dating his costar Ana de Armas.

But it’s unlikely for Affleck to jump from one woman to the next every month. It’s impossible for him to be secretly dating de Armas and then planning to have a baby with Garner and then marrying his ex-wife again weeks later.
