Apple is expected to hold a media event on September 10 where they will make announcements of their new updated gadgets that fans have been highly anticipated during the last months. The Cupertino tech company keeps a tight lip on development but leaks have been popping up left and right on the next generation iPhone's and iPad's that we have pretty much a clear unverstanding of what the new mobile devices will look like. Although Apple has not made anything official, until they hold their keynote, much of the leaks have been from reliable resources. We have compiled a list with what we can expect from the Apple media event next month.

1. iPhone 5S
We can for sure expect an update to the iPhone at this annual event. The iPhone is due for an upgrade and this has been Apple's preferred conference to make the imminent announcement. There have been leaks of what we can expect for the next generation mobile device, like different color options like gold and graphite, and a faster processor that will make the phone snappier. Although the handheld devie will keep the same form factor, an improved camera is expected as well as a dual LED flash to take better pictures in low-lighting conditions. It has also been rumored that a finger print sensor would be placed on the home button and storage capacity options would get a bump up to 128 GB.

2. iPhone 5C
The infamous iPhone 5C is the "cheaper" model that has been rumored to be launched and aimed at budget conscious consumers and emerging markets. This iteniration of the smartphone would not have all the features that the full-fledged device would have, but it will run the same software that has made the iPhone world-renowned. This lower cost model would have a body with five color options, very similar to the iPod Touch. The internals would be similar to what the iPhone 5 has and a 4-inch Retina display.

3. iOS 7
An update to the iOS interface was announced a couple months ago with a flatter design look. Reviews have been mixed on the visual look of the new interface, but overall it is striking and the biggest change since the introduction of the iPhone. New features include a "Control Center" with shortcuts to a flashlight, brightness levels, camera, calculator and many more options. The new camera app has a complete overhaul that includes an option to take square-sized pictures with filters like Instagram. More features are expected to be announced during Apple's keynote next month as well as the official release date.

4. Mac OS X Mavericks
Apple's desktop computers will get some love this fall with the introduction of their Mavericks OS. This will finally bring the iBookstore, popularized by their iOS devices, to the Mac. It will also add tabs to the Finder, tags to files for easier access and better multiple displays support. Apple's Maps will also come to the desktop making it easier to share maps and locations and integrate with mobile devices. A date for the launch of the OS is expected to be announced at the event.

5. iPad Mini 2
Not much has been talkd about the second generation iPad mini, but we are expecting an announcement of the device which makes a great stocking stuffer for the holidays. From the vague rumors that have circulated, the form factor should be consistent with the first generation. Although people are expecting a Retina display, no clear rumors have pointed to this happening.

Other announcements we can expect is the highly talked about iWatch. The device should be similar to those fitness wristbands that counts as a pedometer and keeps those jogging lovers on tap. AppleTV has received a lot of love lately and an update on what the future holds for the "hobby" should be expected.
