We have been getting a pretty clear picture of the cast that will be included in "American Horror Story" Season 6.
Golden Globe winner Lady Gaga has confirmed she will return for the coming season, but did not give any details regarding her character or the story. Now Leslie Jordan has revealed he too will be returning for Season 6. In an interview with Washington Blade, the actor said he turned down creator Ryan Murphy for "American Horror Story: Freak Show" due to a prior engagement but accepted the offer for the new coming season. Jordan said:
"I'm booked all summer, then on July 7, I go back to American Horror Story with Lady Gaga, isn’t that fun? I did one season on Coven. They offered me another season but I got offered a reality show in London and I needed the money. Let me tell you, those reality shows pay a lot of money. So I turned down Freak Show, biggest mistake of my life. I didn’t think Mr. (Ryan) Murphy would want me again because I turned him down, but he did."
Meanwhile, back in February, Angela Bassett confirmed her return to the series during an interview on "Larry King Now." And in March 2016 at Paleyfest, Murphy invited Kathy Bates, Denis O'Hare, Sarah Paulson, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Matt Bomer to return to the show for its sixth season.
Unfortunately, it looks as if "American Horror Story" is in the past for Jessica Lange, who confirmed to Charlie Rose that she has finished her time with the horror anthology series.
"No, I think … you know, I had four years with that, four seasons. And each year was a marvelous character; everything changed from one year to another, which made it very interesting for me. But … no. Sometimes you come to the end of something, and it has had its natural [course]."
However, Lange is still working with Murphy as she will appear in his new FX anthology "Feud," which will examine one famous feud per season.
The first season will see Susan Sarandon and Lange portraying the infamous rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford on the set of the 1960s hit "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?"
