Maddo jumps a Hercules in "AIR.CRAFT" DC Shoes

From the spectacular standing-mile events scattered across the South to the famous racing circuits including Silverstone and Sebring Raceway, car enthusiasts all over the world freaking love airfields.

Now, DC Shoes, the extreme sports apparel company that brought you Gymkhana, collaborates with freestyle motocross extraordinaire Robbie Maddison in a new short film titled "AIR.CRAFT," the gnarliest performance on two wheels the world has ever seen.

Having already jumped the Corinth Canal in Greece and won innumerable medals in the X Games, Maddison, known affectionately as Maddo, teamed up with DC Shoes to search for the new crazy -- blitzing across an airfield graveyard in Tucson, Arizona, and pulling incredible aerial maneuvers including a jump over the corpse of a retired Lockheed AC130 Hercules.

Maddo said, "I've just been trying to follow my heart and do what I really want to do. I have all these ideas -- I'm a bit of a dreamer. Obviously, all the stuff I've done with Red bull is an inspiration behind it; they were all a challenge for me and I loved doing them."

Traveling all over the world, DC Shoes and Maddo scouted locations in Los Angeles, Mexico, and Dubai before finally discover the final site at Arizona.

"We turned that graveyard into a dirt biker's dreamland."

According to Red Bull, Maddo dislocated his shoulder a total of six times before he finally completed the epic "AIR.CRAFT."

Shot and scored like a speghetti western, Maddo is nothing less than a modern day cowboy. Be sure to check out "AIR.CRAFT" below:
