6 Reasons To Watch ‘El Señor De Los Cielos 2’ Finale Tonight On Telemundo!

The second season of "El Señor de los Cielos" comes to a close tonight on the Telemundo network. Starring Rafael Amaya and a rotating cast due to the high volume of deaths per season, this second outing of the "narconovela" was another hit for the Spanish-language net. Although the average was not as big as the first season, it did maintain itself at the top of the networks own original productions. This second season had Aurelio Casillas return from the dead to try and regain his territories lost after he faked his own death following a botched plastic surgery operation. His main rival was Chema Venegas, played by Mauricio Ochmann, which was loosely based on Chapo Guzmán. While it was believed that Casillas was dead, his family paid the consequences and we saw two of his family members die, his own son and former wife Ximena Letrán (Ximena Herrera) as well as his mother suffering an attack that she survived. We will be glued to the television tonight and these are the reasons to watch the season finale...

1. Will Ballesteros Capture Aurelio?: We already know there's going to be a third season to this series after Telemundo made the announcement during their annual Upfront event back in May. Ballesteros (Carmen Villalobos) has been close to capturing him, but has not been successful. They can technically capture him and arrest him only to have him break out of prison during the following season, so anything is possible. 2. Is La Gober Actually In Love With Casillas?: La Gober (Marlene Favela) was tricked by Aurelio Casillas into thinking he was another man, that actually gave money to support her campaign as governor. She ultimately fell in love for this fake guy, but she was also a woman that was not corrupt. Will she fall to the other side? During a preview for Monday's episode we saw her trying to trick Aurelio she didn't know he was who he was. 3. Rutila Casillas "La Señora De Los Cielos"?: Rutila (Carmen Aub) is now following in the footsteps of her dear daddy and is showing how much of a Casillas she is. She already told her grandmother she will be joining the business, but how much noise can she make?

4. Chema Venegas Dead Or More Powerful?: Aurelio Casillas tried to kill El Chema, but was unsuccessful as the DEA was on his heels and could've captured him. El Chema lived another day, but will faith lead him to his ultimate death or only make him more powerful as Aurelio keeps running away from the law? 5. What Will Happen To Victor Casillas Jr.?: He ran away from home ro reunite with his prostitute girlfriend who is now a seamstress. He is Chacorta's (Raúl Méndez) son and he will be looking for him, but is his life in danger? 6. Paco Stanley Event Recreated?: There was a character within the telenovela that awfully resembled Paco Stanley's real life case. In the series the character is a popular television comedic host that sells drugs within the television studio where he works as well as helps with the laundering of money with the Casillas. Will his death be shown on television? Tonight's season finale will hopefully answer most of these questions and will probably raise even more as well. The final episode of "El Señor De Los Cielos 2" airs tonight at 10pm ET/PT on Telemundo.
