It’s… two girls for Michael Jordan and wife Yvette Prieto! The couple welcomed their identical twin daughters on Sunday, Feb. 9 in West Palm Beach, Florida. "Michael and Yvette Jordan are thrilled to announce that their identical twin daughters, Victoria and Ysabel, were born Sunday, February 9, 2014 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Yvette and the babies are doing well and the family is overjoyed at their arrival," Michael's manager told E! News.
It’s been a great past few months for Jordan, who is the owner of NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. The team is currently the eight seed in the Eastern Conference and have a chance to make the postseason. If they do, this will be the first time since Jordan took over in 2010 as the majority owner that the franchise makes the playoffs. Besides his professional success, he now has two little blessings to bring him more joy.
The girls are Yvette’s first and second born, but Michael’s fourth and fifth, since he already has three grown children: Jeffery Michael, Marcus James and daughter Jasmine as a result of his relationship with ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. Jordan and Prieto met at a Miami nightclub in 2008. He proposed on Christmas 2011 and they tied the knot in April 2013 in a lavish ceremony in front of more than 500 guests and 1,500 friends who celebrated with them after the ceremony. Michael and Yvette confirmed they were expecting in late November. Double congrats for Michael and Yvette!
