It's official: Michael Jordan is taken.

The legendary Chicago Bulls player filed for a marriage license on Thursday at the Palm Beach County courthouse in Florida. The identity of the bride was not officially revealed, but TMZ says it obtained photos of the NBA star and longtime fiancé Yvette Prieto filing the papers. The publication stated they plan to tie the knot on April 27.

Prieto and Jordan started dating in 2008 after they met at a club and got engaged three years later. The private couple has kept a low profile during that time, showing in public only a few times. This will be the second marriage for Jordan, after he divorced Juanita Vanoy in 2006.

Who is Jordan's new sweetheart? Here are five things to know about the future Mrs. Jordan:

1. She is a 33-year-old Miami native of Cuban-American descent.

2. She majored in business in college and is a professional model. Her book includes photo shoots for Alexander Wang, the new designer at Balenciaga.

3. She used to date Julio Iglesias, Jr., Enrique's older brother. He described Prieto as "loving," "simple," and a "very good person."

4. She filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2002 and pulled out from under it two years later.

5. She registered as a Republican on her voter registration but later switched to Independent.
