Xuxa is about to prove the world that she still has it going on at 53 years old! The Brazilian superstar will make a slight comeback on the runway, flaunting her ever-so flawless modeling skills during a fashion event in Brazil.
According to the former host of "El Show de Xuxa" herself, she will be part of a very exciting runway as part of Brazil's Rio Moda Rio. We are assuming that it is their version of Fashion Week as the event runs from June 14 to the 18.
“This Tuesday, June 14, I will be in the runway of 'Rio Moda Rio,'" announced the star to her nearly seven million fans on Facebook. This is the first time in 16 years that Xuxa, born Maria da Graça Meneghel, will showcase her modeling skills.
According to Epoca Globo, the also singer, actress and businesswoman, will walk a runway inspired by '80's fashion. The event will pay tribute to four popular brands in the 1980s: Yes Brazil, Company, Maria Bonita and George Henri. Gringo Cardia, who is the creative curator of the event, told the local publication that one of Xuxa's first runways was with Yes Brazil.
Xuxa, who was all the rage in the early '90s with her variety children's show "El Show de Xuxa," is a big part of every Latino's heart. However, her career embarked in the modeling world prior to becoming every kid's favorite TV presented. Here are some facts you probably didn't know about her modeling career.
