"The X-Factor" is live tonight with a double elimination that may leave us in shock. The Top 12 acts faith has been sealed and two of them will be going home tonight. To ease off on that tension Selena Gomez and Fifth Harmony will be on deck to sing their latest singles. Selena will perform "Slow Down" off of her lates hit album "Stars Dance." The 21-year-old singer has been pulling double duty this past year, not only singing but also in the acting world. This year the big screen saw the former Disney Channel star, in two films, "Spring Breakers" with James Franco and "Getaway" with Ethan Hawke. Both movies are an effort from Gomez to shed her squeaky clean image from the children's network.
In tonight's "The X-Factor" result show, Fifth Harmony will be returning to the same stage where they competed last year. If someone knows what is like to be in their shows on a results show day, it is them. The girls did not make it to the final, but Simon has supported them in the music industry with the girls just releasing an EP titled "Better Together." Their first single "Miss Movin' On" has also proven to be a hit, charting in the iTunes Top 10 charts, with the album debuting at number 6 on the Billboard 200 and number 3 in digital albums. The girl group has also just released a Spanish-language version of the EP titled "Juntos." Fifth Harmony are also embarking on a headlining club tour in preparation for next year's Neon Lights tour with Demi Lovato.
"The X-Factor" results show will air tonight on FOX at 8pm ET/PT and you will be able to catch the performances from tonight on the official YouTube channel. Last night, the Top 13 lost one act at the beginning of the hour when Carlos Guevara was voted out by the public after last week's performance. The Top 12 then continued to perform in the 80s themed night with Paulina Rubio, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Simon Cowell giving for the most part positive reviews. One performance stole the show and it was Josh Levi, that surprised everyone singing "Straight Up." The singer who is mentored by Paulina had a unanimous praised for being able to sing and dance at the same time without skipping a beat. Rubio adviced Levi to do cardio and sing along to train his voice for a better performance. WATCH a recap of last night's performances down below and tell us who you think will be going home!
