Social media is a beast where anyone can speak their mind. Some take it to the extreme, using it as a platform to threaten common people or worse, well-known personalities.
One personality who has gotten her share of criticism and worrying threats is WWE superstar Alexa Bliss.
On Instagram, there was one user who threatened to shoot her and her husband. Among the messages sent to Bliss read:
"What you going to do put an restraining order on me, that’s not going to work cause you can’t do that sweetheart nice try tho."
The badgering continued and it comes as no surprise that Bliss came to a point where she responded to the threats. She claims she has already taken screenshots of the erring Instagram user and that all of these were turned in, presumably to the police for action.
"I saw the DM you sent to people saying you were going to shoot me and my husband yourself. Those screen shots have been turned in.”
However, the stalker laughed off the claims of Bliss on a restraining order. In other posts, the user alleged that he speaks regularly to Buddy Matthews, Bliss’ ex-fiancé, on Twitch, and that he burned all of Bliss’ merchandise.
Bliss is no stranger to controversies like other known celebrities on social media. Among them include a social media user sending threats to fiancée Ryan Cabrera from someone by the handle “Albert Little 666” on Twitter.
Bliss and Cabrera recently tied the knot in a unique wedding ceremony. Both got married in a special celebration held in Palm Desert on Apr. 9. Both got engaged in November 2020.
"It's very us. The whole thing's meant to bring out our personalities and we are far from just normal," the former frontman for Dallas band, Rubix Groove said in a report by People.
