Woman Sexually Assaulted Multiple Times By Men Who Vowed To Help Her Get Better Job

A 37-year-old woman who trusted her co-employee to help her get a better job ended up getting gang-raped over in Nalasopara. Worse, her contact details were spread to other men after the sexual assault carried out by two individuals and is now being harassed.

The woman, a resident of Nalasopara East, worked as a cook in the Global City area of Virar. It was here where she was befriended by one of her co-workers, a delivery boy for online retail giant Amazon.

The man promised to help her get a better job somewhere else and the woman agreed. But in February, the man took the 37-year-old to a flat in Hanuman Nagar, Nalasopara West. She was surprised to find another man present at the location.

When they got there, the 37-year-old woman was threatened by the two men after which they proceeded to sexually assault her. Per the Navbharat Times, the woman was raped four times by both men.

Aside from that, the two men shared her contact details with another unknown man who started to call and harass her to have an intimate relationship.

As of this writing, the two men who sexually assaulted the 37-year-old have been apprehended by authorities. Both have been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for sexually abusing a woman. The third man who has been constantly harassing her is now being hunted down by the police.
