A New Hampshire woman was arrested after allegedly filming herself urinating on food at a grocery store where she worked and posting the videos online, according to police.
Kelli Tedford, 23, has been accused of contaminating grocery store items with her urine and sharing the footage on social media, according to the Keene Police Department.
The videos, which date back to at least 2021, were discovered February 14 by an anonymous tipster who reported them to Keene Police. Investigators reportedly found multiple recordings of Tedford engaging in similar acts at various retail locations.
The grocery store, Monadnock Food Co-Op, immediately removed affected products, sanitized surfaces and issued a recall in cooperation with health officials.
On February 21, Tedford was arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief after police determined that her alleged actions had caused the store more than $1,500 in damages from discarded merchandise and cleaning costs.
The 23-year-old has been released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled for an April 7 court appearance.
Investigators are working to determine if Tedford committed similar offenses at other grocery stores or businesses in the area. Meanwhile, the Monadnock Food Co-Op has reassured customers that all affected products were removed and that no fresh produce, meat or refrigerated items were impacted.
