An Indiana woman was finally apprehended by police after evading capture twice in the past week during high-speed pursuits.
The chase began last Tuesday when police initially tried to stop 29-year-old Chelsea Lynn Moore's car in Evansville, Indiana, but she fled, 14 News reported.
Following the first escape, officers issued a felony warrant for her arrest, noting that she was on parole.
Moore was spotted a second time by police on Monday night. When police tried to stop her, Moore once again sped away, nearly hitting another car as the headlights were off.
Eventually, police were able to intercept Moore's vehicle and bring her into custody.
Now detained in Vanderburgh County Jail, Moore faces multiple charges, including resisting law enforcement, aggressive driving, and reckless driving.
With Moore facing parole violations, the case could result in significant legal penalties, including potential jail time.
