“El Señor de los Cielos” star Tomás Goros criticized William Levy’s acting skills during an interview aired on Telemundo’s “Suelta La Sopa.” “He [William Levy] is not an actor. William Levy is a model. He is a very pretty boy that should be modeling underwear and walking the runway.” He continued by saying that telenovela’s starring Levy reported bad ratings due to the model’s lack of talent.
Well, it looks like Televisa disagrees with Goros’ comments because the handsome Cuban is currently in Mexico, and he is allegedly discussing a new starring role in a telenovela. According to TVyNovelas, sources close to the actor confirmed he was back in Aztec lands to meet with producers.
Rumor has it, “Simplemente María’s” producer Ignacio Sada, is looking forward to meet with Levy and run a few tests with him and Claudia Álvarez, who recently landed the leading role.
Not too long ago, William told Notimex that he would be thrilled to go back to the small screen, “I would like to if there is an opportunity to do something nice and well taken care of for the audience, but I haven’t gotten a call from Carla Estrada, or anyone else.”
Estrada, who will leave her position as producer of “Hoy” at the end of the year, is rumored to be looking for actors for her big telenovela comeback. Will William Levy be one of them?
In the meantime, the handsome stud hinted to a new beginning on Instagram with the following caption: “Buenos Dias a todos !!!! Un nuevo día un nuevo comienzo !!! Love you all!!!” (Good morning everyone! A new day a new beginning! Love you all!).
