Why Queen Elizabeth Is Rumored To ‘Dislike’ Prince William’s Wife Kate Middleton

Queen Elizabeth II and Kate Middleton seem to have a good relationship with each other. But there are also some unfounded rumors suggesting that the monarch dislikes Prince William’s wife.

One publication claimed that Her Majesty didn’t like the fact that the Duchess of Cambridge wore a skimpy two-piece swimsuit at a fashion show at the University of St. Andrews. The same publication claimed that after Kate got sick in 2014, the Queen forced her to report to work.

There have also been rumors suggesting that the Queen is not pleased with Kate’s fashion mishaps. During one occasion, the mom of three flashed her thighs in public after the wind blew up her skirt.

However, one royal fan claimed that there’s really no way of knowing if Her Majesty dislikes Prince George’s mom. This is because the monarch is not one to talk about her feelings in public.

“The Queen doesn’t speak publicly about whether she likes or dislikes members of her family,” the royal fan said. “The only information you can get is, therefore, second hand from people that know the Queen well to speak to the press. These are people that the Queen has confided in who betrayed that confidence, so they are hardly trustworthy. I wouldn’t have confidence in what they say,” the royal fan added.

But Barkha Samnani, another royal fan, said that it seems that the Queen likes Kate. However, no one really knows the truth in the same way that no one knows if the Queen really disliked Princess Diana.

In the documentary “Diana: In Her Own Words,” the Princess of Wales revealed that she sought Her Majesty’s help regarding the fallout of her marriage to Prince Charles. Unfortunately for the mom of two, the monarch was less than sympathetic.

“I went to the top lady and said: ‘I don’t know what I should do,’” Princess Diana told royal biographer Andrew Morton. “She said: ‘I don’t know what you should do.’ And that was it. That was ‘help,’” Princess Diana added.

But the Queen also tried to intervene. However, since Princess Diana kept talking to the press, she later on convinced her and Prince Charles to finally get a divorce.
