During one heated argument, Prince Charles told Princess Diana that she should expect him to have a mistress. At that time, Princess Diana confronted Prince Charles about his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles.

In the Channel 5 documentary “Affairs And Infidelities,” royal columnist Richard Kay said that Princess Diana had always been aware of Prince Charles’ infidelity. Camilla also thought that the Princess of Wales was completely mad and called her a Rottweiler because she got her teeth into Prince Charles and wouldn’t let go.

“On one occasion, Diana was relating to me an argument she’d had with Charles about his relationship with Camilla,” Kay said. According to Kay, Princess Diana told him what Prince Charles asked him. “Do you seriously expect me to be the first Prince of Wales to not have a mistress?” Kay shared.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s former protection officer, Ken Wharfe, also talked about another incident involving Princess Diana and Camilla from 1989. While at a party, Princess Diana confronted Camilla and told her that she knows what’s going on.

Princess Diana also talked about the incident during her interview with Andrew Morton for the latter’s book “Diana: Her True Story.” “I know what’s going on between you and Charles and I just want you to know that,” Princess Diana told Camilla.

“You’ve got everything you ever wanted,” Camilla replied. “You’ve got all the men in the world to fall in love with you and you’ve got two beautiful children, what more do you want?” the Duchess of Cornwall added.

Princess Diana told Camilla that she wants her husband. During her interview with Morton, the mom of two said that she was terrified of Camilla, but she managed to stay deathly calm during their confrontation. After all, the voice inside of her encouraged her to just go ahead.

Unfortunately, Princess Diana’s efforts to end Prince Charles and Camilla’s affair did not work. The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall continued seeing each other even before Prince Charles and Princess Diana separated in 1981. The Prince and Princess of Wales divorced in 1996, and the latter passed away one year later.
